MSW Digital operates Tool Arena. This notice explains what information we use, why we use it, and the choices that you have.
Information we use
- Public listing data, such as the name, website address, description, logo, XP score, outbound click total, and sponsor position.
- The receipt email that Stripe collects for a payment. We also use this email for factual sponsor-rank system notices, including when that tool loses the #1 sponsor spot.
- Some old listing records can include a controller email. Tool Arena no longer uses controller emails or sends private listing links.
- Stripe checkout, payment, and dispute identifiers. We do not receive your full card number.
- Sponsor purchase details, such as the tool, charge, prior credit, new sponsor total, terms version, acceptance time, and a one-way request code used for payment security.
- Public page details that our server reads from a submitted website, such as its title, description, favicon, final address, and visible text.
- Basic request data, such as IP address, browser information, request time, and security results, which our hosting and protection services can process.
- One-way IP hashes used to limit repeated submissions. We do not put the raw IP address in the submission-control table.
- Random codes for click events and a one-way code used to estimate how many players are online and how many browsers have joined over time. These codes are not used to stop repeat clicks.
- Outbound listing click records, including the tool, page surface, sponsor position when applicable, and request time. These records do not contain an IP address, email address, or full browser address.
- Aggregate historical click estimates from hosting redirect logs. We store the tool, time window, observed redirect total, excluded routine crawler total, and final estimate. We mark public totals that include an estimate with a ~ mark.
- A two-letter country code that Vercel estimates from the public IP address of an XP request. We use only this code to show an anonymous country flag with the XP event. We do not show a city or an exact location.
- Daily game run data, such as the tool, input times, run time, verified score, game day, and an anonymous visitor code used to credit a personal-best XP award. The public leaderboard can show the tool name and score.
- Page views and limited product events, such as opening the add-tool form, adding a tool, starting or completing a sponsor purchase, finishing a game, and copying a rally link. Event details can include a form source, game score, crown result, sponsor amount, or free/sponsor mode. We do not put email addresses, full website addresses, IP addresses, or Stripe identifiers in these event details.
- Local browser storage for the live-player session and your recently submitted tool.
- Messages that you send to support.
Why we use it
We use this information to publish listings, read public website details, run the daily game, verify high scores, run the click race, measure visits sent to listed tools, show sponsors which page surfaces produced those visits, show anonymous country flags with live XP events, show live and all-time player counts, understand the add-tool, game, sharing, and sponsor flows, process sponsor payments, apply ranks, send sponsor-rank system notices, answer support requests, stop repeated submissions, and protect the service.
Automatic listing review
We send submitted listing details and limited public page text to a model provider through Vercel AI Gateway. The model checks for spam, scams, malware, adult content, gambling, illegal content, hate, and pages that are not tools. An automatic result can block a listing. You can ask us to review a blocked listing.
Service providers
Stripe processes payments. Neon stores listing, game score, click, bid, payment, sponsor contact, consent, and email-delivery records. Resend sends selected sponsor alerts and service notifications. Vercel hosts the website, processes requests and limited analytics events, checks protected forms for automated traffic, and routes listing-review data to the selected model provider. These providers process information for us under their own terms and privacy notices. We can also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Public information and other websites
Listing content, XP scores, outbound click totals, and sponsor positions are public. When you visit a listed website, that website receives the normal information that your browser sends. Its privacy notice, not this notice, controls what it does with that information.
Cookies and browser storage
Tool Arena does not use advertising cookies. Local browser storage keeps a random live-session code and the address of your recently submitted tool until you clear that storage. You can block or clear this data in your browser, but the live-count and recent-tool functions can stop working.
Retention
We keep public listing data while a listing is active or while we need the data to operate and protect the service. Old controller emails can remain until we complete a safe data cleanup. Submission-control records are used for short-term limits and are deleted during later cleanup. Live-player records older than two hours are deleted during later live-count activity. Daily game run records are kept for up to 30 days. We keep payment records as required for accounting, dispute response, fraud prevention, and legal duties. We keep sponsor-alert consent and unsubscribe records while needed to honor your choice and protect the service. We keep outbound click records while needed to measure listing and sponsor performance. Hosting logs and backups follow the retention settings of our providers.
Your choices
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-site advertising. You can stop later sponsor-rank notices for a tool with the link in each notice. To ask for access, correction, deletion, or a listing review, email support@mswdigital.com. We can ask you to verify your identity or authority before we act. Some records can remain when we must keep them for security, payment, or legal reasons.
Children
Tool Arena is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Contact us if you think that a child gave us personal information.
Security, international processing, and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational controls, but no online service is fully secure. Our providers can process information in the United States and other countries. We can update this notice and will change the date at the top when we do.
